As the world around us begins to bloom and awaken, this season becomes a living parable of God's desire for renewal in our lives. As we continue our annual theme – Growing in Hope – this month’s idea is – The Hope of Renewal.

In scripture, the theme of new beginnings is deeply rooted. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning.” This season reflects that promise — a season where mercy is fresh each day. As nature echoes this truth, we are reminded of God’s creativity and His power to bring renewal where there was once dormancy. Let this season stir your heart toward personal growth and transformation.

Two significant days in church history fall in this season. Ascension Day (May 29th) and the coming celebration of Pentecost (June 8th) highlight this time as one of change and empowerment. The same Spirit who ignited the early church is available to renew and strengthen you today.
